The Africa EV Summit 2026 is a high-level continental platform bringing together African, European, and international stakeholders working across electric mobility, energy systems, infrastructure, logistics, financing, and sustainable industrial development.
Hosted in Addis Ababa from 14–16 September 2026, the summit will convene governments, utilities, investors, infrastructure developers, mobility companies, development finance institutions, telecom actors, and regional institutions shaping the future of transport and energy across Africa.
The programme will feature strategic dialogues, ecosystem roundtables, investment discussions, networking activities, and industry engagement sessions focused on accelerating scalable electric mobility ecosystems and sustainable transport corridors across the continent.
Key thematic areas include charging infrastructure, transport corridors and heavy-duty electrification, connectivity and digital infrastructure, standards and continental coordination, and financing the transition toward sustainable mobility systems.
