Africa's future.
Advancing Denmark-Africa relations through diplomacy, regional cooperation and multilateral engagement.
H.E. Sune Krogstrup is Denmark's Ambassador to Ethiopia, South Sudan, Djibouti and Sudan, and Permanent Representative of Denmark to the African Union.
With two decades of diplomatic experience, he has previously served as Ambassador to Nigeria, Deputy Head of Mission in Addis Ababa and First Secretary at the Danish Representative Office in Palestine.
Before his ambassadorial postings, he held several leadership roles in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, directing work on African regional development, peace and stabilisation initiatives, and Denmark's multilateral engagement.
H.E. Krogstrup holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen, with a specialisation in African politics. His extensive on-the-ground experience across the continent gives him a strong perspective on diplomacy, development and regional dynamics.
