ROAD TO AFRICA / INTRO AFRICA

ABOUT

Paul Kidero is the Expedition & Kenya Lead for Road to Africa and a storyteller at Intro Africa, where he combines visual storytelling with practical field leadership to document Africa's transformation through innovation, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration. Based in Nairobi, he leads expedition logistics and stakeholder engagement across Kenya while producing stories that connect local action with continental opportunities.

As Expedition Lead, Paul has played a central role in coordinating and leading the Road to Africa electric mobility expeditions, including the landmark Road to Addis journey from Nairobi to Addis Ababa and subsequent regional expeditions across Southern Africa. These initiatives demonstrate the viability of electric transport across Africa's trade corridors while bringing together governments, utilities, private sector leaders, universities, and local communities to accelerate the continent's transition to sustainable mobility.

Alongside his expedition work, Paul is an accomplished visual storyteller with a background in photography, videography, and documentary production. Through Intro Africa, he covers topics ranging from technology and entrepreneurship to infrastructure, climate action, and sustainable development, translating complex issues into compelling human stories that inspire dialogue and collaboration across the continent.

Passionate about connecting people, ideas, and places, Paul believes that meaningful progress happens through shared experiences and authentic storytelling. Whether navigating thousands of kilometres across Africa or reporting from major innovation forums, his work focuses on showcasing the people and partnerships shaping Africa's future.
