Building Africa's largest electric-mobility fleet and battery-swapping network across multiple markets.

Kaushik Burman is CEO, Mobility at Spiro, where he leads the buildout of Africa's largest electric-mobility fleet and battery-swapping network across Benin, Togo, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Cameroon.

Before joining Spiro, Kaushik served as Managing Director at Gogoro, a Nasdaq-listed electric-mobility company. His earlier career includes leadership and commercial roles at Shell, Nestlé, Citibank and Tata.

His experience across mobility, energy, consumer goods, finance and technology brings a cross-sector perspective to the challenge of scaling electric transport and supporting infrastructure across diverse markets.

Kaushik holds a full-time MBA from INSEAD, completed in 2011, an MBA from FMS Delhi and a degree in mechanical engineering from Osmania University. He also completed Harvard Kennedy School's Climate Policy programme in 2020.
