Kartik Das is the World Bank Group Transport Team’s Global Lead for E-Mobility Solutions & Impact, where he supports fleet electrification and mobility technology adoption in emerging markets through strategic investment and innovative financing solutions.

His investment experience spans geographies, sectors, and asset classes, including venture, growth equity, and infrastructure. This breadth of experience provides a unique perspective on financing and scaling businesses across the e-mobility value chain.

At the Africa EV Summit, Kartik will discuss innovative financing approaches that can help mobilize greater private sector investment in Africa’s electric mobility sector and share insights from the evolution of e-mobility ecosystems in emerging markets.

Kartik earned a joint M.A. in Finance and B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Claremont McKenna College and holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
