Dr. Kalkidan Esayas Woldesenbet is an Ethiopian sustainability, climate-action and development practitioner with more than ten years of experience across leadership, environmental sustainability, policy, research, capacity development and multi-stakeholder engagement.

She is the CEO and founder of Kal Consulting and serves as the National Focal Point and Representative for Ethiopia at Africa Circular. Her work focuses on climate-resilient development, circular-economy approaches, sustainable enterprise, green innovation and locally driven solutions.

Kalkidan has worked with government institutions, development partners, academia, civil society and private-sector stakeholders, helping connect evidence and policy with practical programmes, partnerships and enterprise development.

She holds a PhD in Ecological Science and brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the design of sustainable and inclusive development solutions.
