Building interoperable battery-swapping systems for Africa’s electric motorcycle market.
Jason Gras is a Co-Founder of OKOA and an entrepreneur working at the intersection of software, battery systems and electric mobility in Africa.
He previously co-founded STIMA, which develops software for battery-swapping infrastructure and battery-fleet management. That work has supported e-mobility operators across Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and Nigeria.
Through OKOA, Jason is helping build multi-country interoperable battery-swapping networks designed to reduce fragmentation and improve access to reliable energy for electric motorcycles.
At the Nordic–Africa EV Summit, he contributes an operator and technology perspective to the discussion on two- and three-wheeler infrastructure deployment models.
