mobility systems.
Turning mobility innovation, technology and international experience into practical transport solutions that can scale.
Frode Kjos is a Norwegian mobility and transport expert with more than 15 years of experience in innovation, business development and technology implementation. He is Founder and CEO of FK Mobility, a Norwegian consultancy specialising in smart mobility, autonomous transport and electrification.
His expertise spans electric mobility, Mobility as a Service, autonomous vehicles, multimodal transport and software-defined vehicles. Across complex Nordic and European projects, he has worked with public- and private-sector stakeholders to move new mobility technologies from strategy and pilot activity into implementation.
Frode advises organisations on market positioning, opportunity analysis, technical frameworks and programme delivery. His work focuses on the standards, partnerships and operational structures required to create integrated mobility systems across sectors and borders.
He brings to the Africa EV Summit practical insight from Norway's electric-vehicle transition and from mobility projects that connect government, operators and technology providers. This experience supports the wider discussion about how African cities can build connected, sustainable and future-ready transport systems.
At the Africa EV Summit 2026 in Addis Ababa, Frode joins the Future African Cities session to explore how smart mobility, electrification and cross-sector collaboration can support resilient urban transport across the continent.
