Dustin Kahler is a climate innovator and operator with nearly two decades of experience building and financing electric mobility, renewable-energy and fintech ventures across Africa, the United States and China.
He is the founder of Upeo.Earth and currently advises startups and capital allocators through MobilityX Africa and BFA Global. His work combines investment discipline with practical experience building businesses in fast-changing mobility markets.
From 2022 to 2025, Dustin served as Director of Mobility at M-KOPA, where he helped build the company into East Africa's market-leading financier of electric motorcycles. He was also a founding member of the Governing Council of the Electric Mobility Association of Kenya.
Earlier in his career, he held renewable-energy finance roles at SunFunder and Wells Fargo. Dustin holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton's School of Public and International Affairs and an MBA from IMD.
