Candice Lanoix is an investment professional at the International Finance Corporation, the private-sector arm of the World Bank Group, with more than 12 years of investment experience across business development, investment structuring and portfolio management in Africa.
Candice is passionate about developing new solutions that bring private capital into African infrastructure and climate opportunities. She helped build Zafiri, a US$180 million investment platform under Mission 300 designed to scale private investment in distributed renewable energy.
At the Africa EV Summit, Candice will discuss eMBELE, a blended-finance equity platform designed to mobilise growth capital for Africa's rapidly evolving electric-mobility ecosystem and support businesses across the e-mobility value chain as they scale.
Candice enjoys working across disciplines with developers, financiers, lawyers, engineers, entrepreneurs and other visionaries to turn ambitious ideas into investable opportunities and scalable solutions.
She holds two master's degrees from Sciences Po and the London School of Economics.
