Amos Mwangi is a Senior Electric Mobility Associate in the WRI Africa Cities team, based in Nairobi. He manages WRI Africa's growing electric-mobility work across the region.

Before joining WRI, Amos worked with the United Nations Environment Programme on projects covering electric mobility, fuel efficiency, cleaner fuels and vehicle standards in Africa. He has also worked in environmental assessment and project management.

Amos holds a master's degree in Carbon Management from the University of Edinburgh and a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering from the University of Nairobi. At the Africa EV Freight Forum, he brings policy and programme-delivery experience to the discussion on scaling electric mobility.
